This is a follow up to communication about dismissal procedures for our middle and high school students and staff.
We will release all middle school students and staff at this time. Because of the delayed release, this will cause buses to arrive at the high school about thirty minutes later than normal dismissal time. However, high school will dismiss on time.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

The NLRSD is monitoring the potential for severe weather in central Arkansas. Our local meteorologists expect severe thunderstorms at the time our elementary schools dismiss. In the event of severe weather, we will hold students and staff at schools until conditions improve to ensure a safe dismissal. We believe that our schools are the safest place during a storm.
All after-school activities and athletic events will be canceled this afternoon.
