Congratulations to the staff at Ridge Road Elementary! The school was selected by the AR Department of Education for the Inclusive Practices Project. Staff will get free professional development to learn innovative strategies to reach and empower struggling learners.

We salute Ms. Shari Runnells, a Dyslexia Interventionist at Glenview, on becoming a National Board Certified Teacher! This credential is the gold standard in teaching. It requires educators to take an exam and to submit multiple portfolios showing student growth.

These are a few of the retirees who will be leaving us at the end of this school year. They were recognized at the Regular Board Meeting as their professional journeys were read. We wish you a happy and healthy retirement!

These seniors from the COE provided the Board with perspective of their respective career pathway: Biomedical, Criminal Justice, Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science. Dasha Young discussed the AP and concurrent courses available to students.

NiJayla McCray and Ryan Munsel offered the invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance at Thursday's Regular Board Meeting.

Students will be released early on Friday, May 20, 2022. Pre-K students will be dismissed between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:50 p.m. Middle schools will dismiss at 1:40 p.m. High schools will dismiss at 2:10 p.m.
