The District has announced that Fridays in the 2nd Quarter will be Virtual Learning Fridays. At Indian Hills, we are currently working on a detailed plan to share with families. To help us plan for those Fridays, it would help us if we had an idea of how many children would be on campus. If your child(ren) attends school face-to-face at Indian Hills, please answer the following questions to help us better meet the needs of our students. Students will have the opportunity to review previously assigned activities, make up assignments, or to work in digital platforms such as Edgenuity and Waterford that will address missing Standards due to last year’s extended school closure. Please follow the survey link to provide important information regarding virtual Fridays. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAtgvIh-O-57gaT55p9MEszvpeRD9MgO3MgmX93JhCxezjsQ/viewform?

These assignments will be completed asynchronously, which means there will be no live instruction. No new material will be introduced. Attendance will still be taken. Please take a look at our safety procedures as it relates to attending our sporting events this fall. We have implemented changes to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and fans. If you're interested in attending football games, tickets will be sold on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the ticket booth on the home side. We will have limited seating, so you make the decision as soon as possible if you plan on attending. Tickets for volleyball games will be sold at the door starting one hour before the first game. JV and middle school game tickets will be sold on both sides of the stadium one hour before kickoff of the first game. https://www.nlrsd.org/article/304249?org=central-office

K-2 Virtual Parents, please click the link to virtually sign the NWEA security agreement. You must be signed in to your child’s google account for the link to work. This is only for K-2 parents because it is their state assessment. 3rd-5th grade virtual students will be taking the NWEA assessment next week however it is not their state assessment. ACT Aspire (which is taken in April) is the state assessment for 3rd -5th grade students. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Emily Stadther at stadthere@nlrsd.org. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfhG3eT3bA4CiqOZvDxPYBdJ6dQJIyWsbfrb32amO7Atrs3jw/viewform

IHE Virtual Student Supply Pick Up Sept. 14-18, 2020
Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) for day 1 will be sent home with your child today, August 27, 2020. If your child is attending IHE Virtual Academy in grades 1-5, the packet was posted in Google Classroom. This packet will be utilized by students if school is canceled tomorrow, August 28, 2020. Additional AMI assignments will be available and posted as needed. The purpose of AMI is to fulfill the requirements to make-up missed days due to unforeseen inclement weather or safety concerns. Please continue to check our district website, school website, school Facebook page and Class Dojo for additional information. Completed AMI assignments will be due and turned in the day after we return to school. For students to receive attendance credit for days missed, all work must be returned. Failure to return work will result in your child being marked absent for the missed day(s). If technology causes an issue with completing AMI assignments, IHE staff will do everything possible to assist students after we return to school.
