NLRMS EAST Initiative students were awarded $1000 from Regional Recycling District Grant. The students will be collecting items outside in the courtyard and field.


NLRSD Nurses have been working tirelessly to make sure every student and staff member had the opportunity to get a flu shot the last 2 months. They have traveled to every school. Some tears were shed, but most left happy and healthy.

Representative French Hill of Arkansas and Representative Virginia Foxx of North Carolina toured NLR High School's new conversion charter - the Center of Excellence. Foxx, chair of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce was interested in seeing firsthand the roles that community, college and industry partnerships are playing in the COE.

How exciting school can be when the project you have been working on actually works.?! 1st grade students from Amboy Elementary have been exploring the concept of buoyancy with the engineering design challenge of building a boat from clay that can float and hold paper clips.
