October is National Physical Therapy Month. The North Little Rock School District is proud of our team of highly skilled Physical Therapists: Linda Collier, Jan Collins, Ashley Hanan, DeAnn Roach, and Alicia Yarbrough. These PTs work tirelessly on behalf of our students to assist them in accessing and benefiting from their World Class education. The services these professionals provide also benefit the students' quality of life. We greatly appreciate all our Physical Therapists do for our students.

NLR Academy students participated in a mock CSI Investigation at UALR.   The students walked through a mock crime scene where they gathered evidence, sampled results from a “lab”, interviewed suspects, and used sharp reasoning, observation, and critical thinking skills to determine the culprit! North Little Rock School District received information about a possible threat to a school. This is based on an Instagram and Facebook message that references a threat to “North”. The North Little Rock Police have notified us that within the last couple of days in the Midwest region of the country, parents and students had been receiving messages from the same number about a threat. The locations were schools with “North” in their name. After investigation, authorities found that the threats were not credible. NLRSD and NLRPD are working hand in hand to ensure the safety of all.
