Eight of our secondary-level counselors received the Superintendent's Honor Roll for ensuring that all students had schedules before the school year began. They learned a new scheduling system and took on additional roles as there were two counselor openings over the summer.

Dr. Nadia Saint-Louis, the Principal at NLRHS, recommended Mr. Jeff Grimmett, a Multi-Classroom Leader, to receive the Superintendent's Honor Roll for his model work ethic and service to the students and staff. Dr. Saint-Louis accepted the award on Mr. Grimmett's behalf.

Some first graders from Crestwood Elementary presented on what they're learning in literacy. They discussed how various characters in the texts they are reading received books. The goal of the unit is to promote a love for reading.

Leah Flores and Landry Ferebee, first graders at Crestwood Elementary School, led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Moment of Silence at tonight's Regular Board Meeting.
