NLR Middle School
7th/8th Grade Campus
Summer school will be held at North Little Rock Middle School 7th and 8th grade campus from June 7 until July 8 and is mandatory for students who have failed math and/or English for the year in order to be promoted to the next grade. There is also an optional enrichment pathway for any student who passed math and English who wish to participate in academically enriching activities. There is no cost to attend. No school will be held on July 5 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Classes will begin at 8:10 a.m. and end at 1:10 p.m and meet daily, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and buses will run their normal routes.
If you have any question as to whether your child will be required to attend summer school, please email Mr. Leverette at leverettea@nlrsd.org for 7th grade students or Ms. Williams at williamsam@nlrsd.org for 8th grade students for assistance.

Dr. Gregory J. Pilewski, the Superintendent of the North Little Rock School District, will hold a Town Hall Forum on May 4, May 11, May 13, and May 25 to discuss the 100 Day Transition Plan Summary Report. The forums will take place on Zoom. You will receive the links by email.

INTERIM PROGRESS REPORTS ARE VIEWABLE:
Interim progress reports are now viewable in the Home Access Center in eSchool under the grades tab. Printed copies will be distributed during 7th period today to on-campus students. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child's teacher(s) so they can assist you and your child.
NEW STUDENT OPEN ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is open for NEW families that have students living in the North Little Rock School District that will be new to our district. If your child is already attending any of one of our NLRSD schools then you will not need to complete the registration. This is only for students that are new to the District.
Documentation required for registration are as follows:
● Copy of the Birth Certificate
● Copy of the Social security card or number or equivalent if coming from another country.
●Current shot record for each child being enrolled/
●Proof of address: Any ONE of the following:
Current Electric bill in the name of a guardian (Water, Gas or Lease agreement/mortgage statement)

Dear 7th grade parents/guardians, your child received a course selection sheet to bring home today that shows the classes we will try to schedule them into this coming school year. Please email Mr. Leverette, leverettea@nlrsd.org, with any questions or concerns. Since all virtual students were on campus today, we are sending this information home with students rather than mailing it. We have also included a Q3 report card for the benefit of the virtual students. Thank you for making this a successful week of ACT Aspire testing.
