Start Time:
Instruction begins promptly at 8:15 AM. Any student not in their seat by this time will be marked tardy.
Sign-In Rule:
A parent or guardian must sign in any student arriving after 8:15 AM at the front office.
Absence Rule:
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late to any class will be marked absent for that period. A formal notification letter regarding absences will be sent to the parent or guardian.
Potential Consequences:
Students may face a possible referral to FINS (Family in Need of Services) for excessive absences.
State Law:
Under Ark. Code § 6-18-222, parents may face fines of up to $500, plus court costs, for attendance violations.
Chronic Absence:
Missing 18 days, or 10% of the school year, is considered a state-level attendance violation.
Chronic Absence: Missing 18 days (10% of the year) is a state-level attendance violation.

January 7th: BMI all 6th graders & Scoliosis screening for 6th grade girls
January 8th: BMI/Scoliosis screening for all 8th-grade students
If you know anyone in need of Thanksgiving Dinner, Disciples In Christ Baptist Ministries is giving away Meal Boxes.
