This announcement is a reminder that students of the North Little Rock School District can not sell store-bought or homemade items to students while they are on any of our NLRSD campuses. In Arkansas, selling food to students within a school district without the proper permits or licenses can be illegal, particularly if the food is potentially hazardous or requires temperature control. The Arkansas Department of Health (.gov) requires permits for establishments that sell food to the public, including those within schools. Additionally, schools have their policies regarding food sales on school property, and violating those policies can also be a problem.

This message is for rising 7th and 8th grade students who want to learn more about the NLRMS dance team for the 2025-2026 school year.
We have made necessary adjustments to meet our students' clinic and tryout needs due to the inclement weather and its consequences.
Tuesday, April 15: Rescheduled mandatory parent meeting, for parents who missed the first meeting, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. in the 7/8th media center.
Tuesday, May 6-Thursday, May 8: Dance Clinic in middle school upper gym from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Friday, May 9: Tryouts in middle school upper gym 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

As you know, the North Little Rock School District closed schools and district offices early on Wednesday, April 2 because of inclement weather.
To avoid extending the school year, the district will add five minutes to the end of the school day beginning Monday, April 14. Please note the updated school hours.
At this time, the last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 30. However, please keep in mind that inclement weather is unpredictable. If additional schedule changes become necessary, the school year may extend beyond this date.
