Next week we will have two "Remote Learning" days on February 9th and 11th.
Remote learning days are as follows:
-Students will check the Google Classroom for each of their classes and complete any assignments given.
-If you must send your child to school, transportation will be provided. Students that come to campus will be required to work on their assignments, so they will need to bring their work and Chromebook
-On-campus and virtual students will not have any live or virtual class meetings on those days.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm virtually on both Tuesday and Thursday night. Please be looking for sign- up links from your child(s) teachers that will be available on Friday.

Special Message for ALL NLRSD Parents and Guardians: Starting tomorrow, will be a VIRTUAL FRIDAY! Face to Face students will have the option to attend on-campus or virtually EVERY FRIDAY. Face to Face students will enter the building at the normal times. These students will report to the designated area for the day to work on their Virtual Friday Assignments. Both Face to Face students who choose not to attend and Face to Face students who do attend will log into their first-period class to complete their attendance for the day. Students must log in between 8:10 - 12:00 for attendance by filling out the attendance form and completing the assignment. Student's that do NOT have internet access were given an attendance form today that they will need to complete and turn in by 8:30 am on Monday in order for their attendance to be counted as present. Virtual Students will continue to stay virtual for this day and Attendance will be taken from 8:10 - 12:00. Students will log into their virtual classroom and be verified by the teacher. Students will be given the virtual assignment to complete for the day. These Assignments are due by 8:30am the following Monday morning. Transportation Buses will run at normal times. Also, the start of school and ending school times will remain the same.
Students will still need to check all google classrooms for assignments from teachers. No new material will be covered.
The North Little Rock School District is striving to become a "High Reliability School" district within the next three years. This distinction will indicate that we have implemented best practices and procedures to improve student achievement.

The North Little Rock Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2021-22 school year. The first day of school will be August 16, 2021, and the last day of the school will be May 27, 2022.

VIRTUAL STUDENTS ONLY—
Next Friday, January 22nd, will be novel pickups for the 2nd semester. It will be from 8-3. Students will receive two novels that they will be reading through their English classes. When you come to pick up the books, please bring the books from the first semester with you to turn in . If students are still reading one of the novels in English, you will turn it in at the end of the year with the two novels you are picking up Friday.

Welcome back. Tuesday through Thursday will be normal school days for on campus students remaining on campus and virtual students remaining virtual. Students who have indicated a desire to return to campus from virtual will participate virtually Tuesday and Wednesday and then return to campus on Thursday and remain on campus the remainder of the semester. For students who have indicated a desire to move from campus to virtual learning, you may stay home and will be contacted by a school counselor by the end of day tomorrow with specific information. Fridays will continue to be virtual Fridays until the end of Q3. Have a great day.
Parents and guardians, please make sure if your child plans on attending any NLR Basketball games at NLR Arena this season you are present. NLRMS students will not be allowed inside the basketball arena without a responsible adult. Students must also sit with their parent(s) or guardian to adhere to the COVID restrictions set forth by NLRSD.
