Good evening, today, our 8th-grade students received course selection information for the COE and NLRHS. Please choose to complete a COE or a NLRHS course selection sheet with your family and bring it back to school with you on Thursday, March 30. Please note that students who choose to complete a COE course selection form MUST also complete a COE application.
Unfortunately, the originally scheduled high school tours and orientation will not happen this spring, but COE and NLRHS counselors will provide information and meet with students at NLRMS on Thursday, March 30. Questions about the COE should be sent to Ms. Cox, COE counselor, at coxm@nlrsd.org. Questions about NLRHS should be sent to Mr. House, NLRHS freshman counselor, at housej@nlrsd.org.

The UAMS Pathways Academy program is an innovative, comprehensive, educational, and community engagement program focused on preparing low-income K-12 students for educational and career opportunities in STEM-H disciplines. If students are not low-income, we still welcome them to apply. Our program is free of charge and we welcome all students to apply.
We are currently recruiting for our Junior & Senior STEM Academies (K-8th grades) in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Our STEM academies will take place this year and we are currently planning for the upcoming summer intensive camps. The Shephard Family recognized Mr. Dewayne Noble, an English teacher at the Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus, for being caring, outgoing, and very eager for his students to make it to the next level. Noble's students know that he loves them and he pushes them in love.

This is just for you to start looking at. Sometime after spring break, the high school counselors will come to the middle school and fill out the course selection with you! NLRMS 7th- 8th-Grade Campus is in search of volunteers to help out during the NLRMS 8th-Grade "Spring Fling". The NLRMS PTA along with the NLRMS Student Council members are hosting this fun event. We are currently looking for volunteers who would like to help serve food, check tickets, and just be present during this fun event.
There will also be a 7th-Grade "Spring Fling" in April for our 7th-Grade students.
