Congratulations to Senior Jiya Gilliam for enlisting in the Arkansas Army National Guard. Cadet Gilliam swore the oath of enlistment on 30 December 2018.
Cadet Gilliam will leave for basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on 15 May 2019. Upon completion of basic training she will attend her Advance Individual training at Fort Lee, Virginia where she will train to be a 92G - Culinary Specialist. Upon her graduation she will return to her home then begin college.
Her college will be paid for by the Arkansas Army National Guard.
Mr. Jennings meets with a star, Hasaan Rasheed., an actor in the movie Black Panther.

SSR letter jacket company will be in the high school cafeteria tomorrow during all lunch shifts for any students wanting to purchase a letter jacket. Cost varies based on style.

VENUE CHANGE! NLRHS vs LR Central on Friday, January 4 will be played at Central HS. The JV boys' game begins at 5 pm followed by the varsity girls' and varsity boys' games.
The 2nd round conference game on Friday, February 1 will now be played at Charging Wildcat Arena.
School resumes for students on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

The NLR football team, along with their coaches, were recognized at tonight’s Board of Education meeting. This senior class set a career record of 37 wins and 2 losses. The only losses came in the 2016 and 2018 Class 7A championship games. They won the 2017 Class 7A Championship.
