NLR Varsity cheer is headed to Orlando, Florida to compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championships!


Busy day at NLRHS! We’re proud of our student athletes who participated in National Signing Day! They include Dwain Hunt, UCA; Samuel Taylor, Arkansas Tech; Tyler Day, Itawamba Community College (Miss.); Tyrese Francis, Arkansas Tech; Dontae Smith, Arkansas Tech; and Aaron Sanders, Culver Stockton College (Mo.). Their teammates Oscar Adaway and Drew Martin signed in December to Univ. of North Texas and Memphis, respectively.


Juniors and Seniors who are set to graduate as an Arkansas Scholar will be recognized during the girls' and boys' b'ball game on 2/12. THERE WILL BE A GIFT CARD DRAWING. YOU HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! We thank the NLR Chamber for playing a role in this initiative!


This past weekend 4 of North Little Rock's finest track athletes participated in the HS Indoor Championship in Fayetteville. Two male athletes and two female athletes represented NLR.
The results of the female entries, which scored a total of 12 points to finish 10th overall were as follows:
60 m dash - O'Shayla Muldrow 8.33s, 11th place; Meonia McDonald 8.81s 29th
200 m dash - O'Shayla Muldrow 26.54s, 5th place; Meonia McDonald 28.19 22nd
400 m dash - O'Shayla Muldrow 59.61, 2nd place; Meonia McDonald 1:03.19 11th
The results of the male entries, which scored a total of 34 pts. to finish 6th overall were as follow:
60 m dash - Kennedy Lightner 6.87s, 1st place; Teylen Patterson, 7.25s, 9th
(The 60 m time breaks the record Kennedy set in 2017)
200 m dash - Kennedy Lightner, 21.43s, 1st place; Teylen Patterson, 23.01s, 6th
400 m dash - Kennedy Lightner, 49.57s, 1st place; Teylen Patterson, 52.25s, 8th
These athletes represented NLR well. Great job by these athletes.
