
The 6A Baseball Championship game scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at 10:00 am has been cancelled by the University of AR due to the weather. This game has been rescheduled for Monday, May 20 at 10:00 am.

On Saturday, May 11, 7 of NLR's finest track athletes went to Lake Hamilton High School to participate in the Meet of Champs Track Meet. Those athletes were: Ben Mitchell, Khalib Wilbert, Adrian Cox, Teylen Patterson, Kennedy Lightner, Chris Jefferson, and Myles Henry. They represented NLR very well. 4 x 100 m relay: Adrian Cox, Kennedy Lightner, Teylen Patterson, and Chris Jefferson; 1st place; 41.97 (The relay team is ranked the 1st relay team in the State)
4 x 400 m relay: Adrian Cox, Teylen Patterson, Myles Henry, & Ben Mitchell; 4th place, 3:25.99
100 m dash; Kennedy Lightner, 1st place, 10.50 (His time set a new state record, which he set during the State Meet last weekend.); Chris Jefferson, 3rd place 10.91
200 m dash: Kennedy Lightner, 1st place, 21.31, Chris Jefferson, 5th place 22.45, Teylen Patterson, 6th place, 22.46

The 2019 UA Chancellor's Bus Tour made a stop today at NLRHS. Approximately, 45 U of A faculty & staff visited with students & teachers about preparing for college & barriers students face in accessing college. The interaction with the students was rewarding & revealing. #thanks

REMINDER! All 9th and 10th grade students will take the ACT Aspire test on Thurs and Fri! This is the exam that directly impacts our school report card. Please encourage student to get some rest tonight, eat a good breakfast, and take the test seriously!

There will be a golf tryout informational parent meeting on Wed, May 22 at 6:00 pm in the Hospitality room in the arena. This meeting is MANDATORY in order to tryout. This is for anyone that will be in grades 9-12 next school year.
