Our last three contestants are looking forward to seeing you at the 1st Annual Miss Blue and Gold Pageant on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $5 (Cash Only) and will be held in the NLRHS Fine Arts Auditorium.

Miss Blue & Gold Pageant is quickly approaching. Mark your calendar for March 12, 6:30 p.m. NLRHS Fine Arts Auditorium. Cost is $5.
One of the contestants will be awarded People's Choice. This will be given to the contestant that raises the most money at the pageant. Pictures of each contestant will be in the lobby when arriving. Drop your money in the bucket for the contestant that you like the most.
The 6A State Tournament starts today! It will be held at Bryant High. Our Lady Charging Wildcats will play Rogers Heritage at 1 p.m.

UA Little Rock has a summer program for any 7th through 11th grader interested in STEM!
All four (4) camps are residential and include three meals a day. Thanks to generous corporate sponsorships and donations, there is no cost to attend. If students don't want to stay on campus, commuting options are available.

Sophomore Murphy Hannah finished third at the 2020 State wrestling tournament in the 106 lb division. He was 4-1 for the tournament & is All-Conference & All State this season. His record is 53-7. His third place finish at State is the highest in NLR wrestling history.

Anyone interested in trying out for any 2020-21 Spirit groups (Varsity Cheer or Dance and 9th Grade Cheer or Dance): There is a mandatory parent meeting on Monday (2/24) at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. A parent or guardian must attend for the student to be eligible to participate in clinic and tryouts.
NLRSD Communications Coordinator Dustin Barnes and NLRHS Senior Dawson Teague were guests on Broadway Joe this morning. The two discussed school choice and the array of opportunities available to students in our schools.

NLRHS alum (‘01) Raymond Jerrod visited Leadership and Service Learning class today to speak about the Nicholas R. Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund. The class has learned about and worked with many nonprofit organizations but this hit home with the students. He explained how and why he started the organization, gave them the opportunity to apply for the scholarship, and invited the class to help with an upcoming breakfast drive.

Tonight, we honored the seniors on the swim and trap teams. Ciara Jenkins and Kahmarr Tyler are members of the NLR Swim Team. Katie Pryor and Jerdan Howard are on the NLR Trap Team. Thank you for representing NLR!
