If you are not a senior watch your email and google classrooms for new assignments and instructions on how to complete your work. If you need a Chromebook, please complete the survey sent to your email account. The subject line is "Do You Need a Chromebook?" If you've already completed it please don't do it again. BREAKFAST AND LUNCH!!
NLRSD has partnered with Club Eco Kidz, a local nonprofit organization, and they will provide nutritious breakfast and lunch to our students starting tomorrow (3/23) until April 17! The organization will be at every elementary school, the middle school, the high school campus, and at the Academy. Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. This will be grab and go. Enjoy!

We are aware of the Arkansas Department of Education's announcement that seniors that are on track to graduate and are in good standing as of the end of the 3rd nine weeks will be considered as meeting graduation requirements for the state of Arkansas. However, there are logistical issues that need to be addressed. We will be in touch before Monday, March 30 with as many specifics as possible.
If you are enrolled in a concurrent course or credit recovery, these programs are not yet complete and you should continue working.
Need to checkout a Chromebook? NLRHS students can do so on Monday, March 30 from 9am-3pm or Tuesday, March 31 from 3pm-6pm. A form has been emailed to students to let us know if they need a device. We will offer curbside checkout! Stay tuned for additional details.
#staywell
To our NLRHS Community,As you have probably heard by now Governor Hutchison has closed all Arkansas public schools until April 17, meaning regular school hours will resume on April 20. Spring Break officially begins on Monday, March 23 and ends Friday, March 27. New online lessons will not be posted during this week. To help facilitate learning after the break, plans are underway to make Chromebooks available on March 30 to those students who need them. Comcast is offering two months of internet to qualifying families at no charge.
We are being asked to make plans quickly and to make some difficult decisions. Please be patient as the situation evolves. As of yet, we do not have definite answers about any of the already scheduled senior activities including Senior Breakfast, Prom, and Graduation.
Stay well!
