NLR Cheer competed Saturday against the amazing teams in Northwest Arkansas and not only won first, but we also hit zero, meaning no mistakes! We also won Best use of stunts, Best Pyramid and won Grand Champs with the highest scoring routine of the All Girl division!
Five more days until state! All NLR supporters are asked to travel to the Hot Springs Convention Center on Friday to cheer them on! It'll begin around 6:15 p.m.


Beginning January 22, 2022, North Little Rock High School students will be able to participate in "Saturday School," which is an opportunity for them to receive tutoring. This will be available on the following Saturday mornings: 1/22, 2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/16, and 4/30.

NLR Cheer had a great competition in Hot Springs this weekend! Competing against all the top 6A teams in the state, NLR came out in top winning First Place overall and Grand Champs with the highest scoring routine of the day!
One more competition this weekend in Bentonville, then off to state the following week. Fans are encouraged to support this dynamic team at state, which will be on December 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

The NLRHS PTA will host the Father-Daughter Dance in the NLRHS Cafeteria on February 7, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All NLRSD girls in grades PK through 5th grade are welcomed with their fathers or father figures.

Congratulations to Malachi Gober on being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau for his performance in last Friday's quarterfinal game against Bentonville.
The quarterback had a 23/34 QB rating for 153 yards and 3 TD passes. This includes the game-winning pass to Larry Wilbourn with 11 seconds left in the game! (What a game!) Gober also rushed four times for 11 yards. The Charging Wildcats outlasted the Bentonville Tigers, 24-21.
Way to go, Malachi!

Congratulations to Jonathan Grayson on being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau for his stellar performance in the first playoff game on 11/12 against Fort Smith Southside.
The senior had a tackle, two QB hurries, an interception return for a TD, and a fumble recovery which resulted in a TD. The Charging Wildcats beat the Southside Mavericks, 51-7.
Way to go, Jonathan!

Akins, a senior, had 4 tackles, 1 assist, 1 tackle for loss, 2 interceptions, and 1 interception for a TD! The Charging Wildcats bested the Cabot Panthers, 41-26.
The Charging Wildcats will host the Southside Mavericks on Friday in the first round of the playoffs.
