In Ms. Crider's Foundations of Criminal Justice class, Ms. Kristie Green, a Drug Recognition Expert Program Specialist, discussed how law enforcement officers screen individuals for before making an arrest.



Over the weekend, the NLR Varsity Cheer competitive team and the Varsity Dance team participated in competitions.
Cheer placed 2nd at their first competition of the season. Their next competition is Saturday, November 16 at the Bank OZK arena in Hot Springs at 4:30 pm. They would love to see lots of blue and gold there cheering them on!

In last week's matchup, Young had 6 tackles, 2 assists, and 2 QB pressures.
Please make plans to cheer on the Charging Wildcats on Friday as they take on the Cabot Panthers. Friday is also Senior Night. We will recognize all seniors involved in cross country, football, golf, tennis, and volleyball at 6:15 p.m. Senior band members will be recognized during halftime.

Congratulations to the NLR Charging Wildcat Band on earning second place among Class 7A bands at the Legacy of Bryant Marching Band Invitational!
The band scored in the top 10 of all bands that competed in the finals.

Congratulations to Herbert Montgomery on being named Pulaski County Farm Bureau Player of the Week!
Montgomery, a senior offensive lineman, has played every position on the line this season. In the last game, he graded out at 77%.
The Charging Wildcats will travel to Conway Friday to take on the Wampus Cats.

The senior class has selected six young ladies to represent them on the Homecoming Court, and one of them will be surprised during the pre-game ceremony that she has earned the votes and support of her peers to be 2024 Homecoming Queen!

Congratulations to Destin Nicholson on being named Farm Bureau Player of the Week!
In last week's matchup, Destin had three tackles, one big play, a pass break up, a forced fumble, and he recovered a fumbled for an 82 yard touchdown! He graded out at 98%.
The Charging Wildcats will host the Pulaski Academy Bruins on Friday.
