Boone Park principal Steve Orobona recommended John Grogan and Anthony Beach (not pictured) to receive the Superintendent's Honor Roll. The two went above and beyond to install new 100% attendance flags and, without prompting, painted areas purple to match the school colors.

We now have the final rankings from the Stock Market Game for Arkansas. Our 5th grade QUEST students, Markell Poindexter and Daniel Posey, have placed 32nd out of 190 elementary/middle school teams playing this semester!!! Way to go!!!
They had $100,000 to spend. They invested in 30 companies and made $2902.35 in 13 weeks. Awesome job! Congratulations!

Happy National Gardening Day! This morning, Ms. Barton, our school counselor, worked with some of our 3rd Grade students to clean out the flower beds for the spring flowers and colored rocks.

Since last week was an unusual week, we decided to celebrate Assistant Principal's week.. THIS WEEK!

What a SPECIAL time we had last night at our Parent and Family Game Night!! Our parents learned how to prepare a simple smart meal and smoothie for their families. (Grilled chicken wrap and strawberry banana smoothie) Thank you, Heather Rhodes for hosting an amazing family cooking event!
Our students enjoyed games outside in our courtyard area. The weather was perfect..but the collaboration and the teamwork of our parents and families were PRICELESS during our FRESH Market Sweep game! Thank you to our staff, STARS volunteers, students, and families!

The threat of severe weather has been extended to 4:00 p.m. in our community making school operations potentially unsafe. Due to the extended forecast and out of an abundance of caution for all our employees, all Central Office and school sites will be closed today. There will be no on-site instruction, after-school activities, or athletic practices and events, as all Central Office and school sites will be closed. No transportation or food services will be provided.
Remote learning for students is in effect as previously communicated.
Due to the prediction of severe weather occurring at our delayed start times, the NLRSD will operate on an Alternate Method of Instruction (AMI) model for Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Virtual instruction will begin at the delayed start times.
