Attention Parents and Families: NO EARLY RELEASE TODAY!

If your student has medication at school, please pick it by Friday, May 30, which is the last day of school. All medication that is not picked up by Friday will be destroyed or discarded, per district guidelines. If your student will be attending summer school, please speak with your child's building nurse to make arrangements.

Attention 5th Grade Parents of Upcoming 6th Graders: North Little Rock Middle School will host their Showcase Night and campus tours on May 15th from 5:00–6:30 PM. See the flyer for more details!

Attention Parents and Families: Cheerleading Tryouts will be held on May 15th for students in Kindergarten through upcoming 5th graders for the 2025-2026 school year! 🎉 Practice Days are May 13th & 14th. Sign-up sheets are going home today! Important Reminders for Tryouts: • No jeans or slides allowed. • Students must wear shorts and tennis shoes. All forms are due by April 30th. As you know, the North Little Rock School District closed schools and district offices early on Wednesday, April 2 because of inclement weather.  To avoid extending the school year, the district will add five minutes to the end of the school day beginning Monday, April 14. Please note the updated school hours. At this time, the last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 30. However, please keep in mind that inclement weather is unpredictable. If additional schedule changes become necessary, the school year may extend beyond this date. Thank you for your understanding!

While we have experienced inclement weather over the past several days, there has been little to no impact on our schools and Central Office sites. Therefore, all campuses and district sites will be open tomorrow at normal times. We understand that travel conditions may still be challenging for some, and we encourage everyone to prioritize safety in their commutes. To avoid extending the school year, the North Little Rock School District has elected to implement the following two changes, beginning Monday, March 3, 2025: --Suspend early dismissals on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year --Add ten (10) minutes to the school day for the remainder of the school year The last day of school will be Friday, May 30, 2025.
