Our students spent the afternoon with the NLR Mayor, Hartwick, and local and park officials. They had a BLAST trying the new rides and being at the ribbon-cutting ceremony!
Thank you, Tina World, and the NLR Park and Recreation for the invitation!

One of Mrs. Peterson's 3rd-grade class students turned in a coupon to have uninterrupted time with Zilla (the classroom bearded dragon). So she read to her! Enjoy this picture of this precious moment!

Children are at their best when they have had a good night's rest and breakfast to start the day. Consistently getting to school on time helps students learn the importance of being punctual, responsible, and organized.

We are Buzzing at Boone Park! We have a beehive!
The Beehive Calm+Confidence program is roughly classified into three stages of development; Prepare (no bee), February/March, Introduce (bee), March/ April, and Inspect (open hive) April/May.
Lauren and Franchesca from Calm+Conficence Beekeeping taught the first bee class at Boone Park Elementary where students sanded old hives, painted, and hammered, scraped out beehives, and assembled hives and frames using nails and hammers.
Our students had a BLAST preparing for the bees!
More to come!
