Parents: Devices will be available tomorrow(January 7, 2022) from 8am-12pm at NLR Academy. If you have a computer, laptop, smartphone or iPad at home, students may use those items for virtual learning.

Parents and guardians, if you have not already completed the Digital Equity Survey, please do so by using this https://nlrsd.jotform.com/212366543212044. It is a requirement from the AR Department of Education for schools to have this information.

The North Little Rock School District continues to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our schools. This is a reminder from our earlier communication that the Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus will continue remote instruction for Thursday, January 6, 2022, and Friday, January 7, 2022. (Click on the following link to read the communication sent earlier today: https://5il.co/13th3) All other campuses will be operating as normal with in-person instruction at this time. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. The NLRSD will provide information should there be any changes to school operations.

Here's information on an upcoming COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic.

Beginning the week of January 10, 2022, HIGH SCHOOL students at the North Little Rock Academy will be able to participate in After-School Tutoring. Tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you would like for your student to attend, please complete the form at the following link: https://nlrsd.jotform.com/213346173749057 Please complete the form as soon as possible so that administrators and teachers can plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school.

We thank those individuals who have signed up to be mentors in our district. If you haven't signed up yet, we still need YOU! Check out these Mentor Orientation Sessions that have been planned. Also, please make plans to attend our "Calling All Dads and Male Role Models" session on Sunday, which will feature the founders of "Dads on Duty" from Shreveport, La. They first appeared on CBS Evening News. Come and hear how they have made a positive impact in schools. See you there!

Happy Thanksgiving Thanksgiving break is November 22-26, 2021. Students will return to school on November 29, 2021.We would like to wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We hope you are taking the time to enjoy it with your family and friends. There is no better time than now to express how grateful the NLR Academy administration and staff are that you have allowed us to work with your child/children. Thank you again for allowing the Academy staff to serve you.

Students at the North Little Rock Academy will attend the Virtual Career Fair sponsored by the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce on November 16th, from 9-11 a.m. North Little Rock Academy students' will be College and Career Ready!!!

We need you! Don't forget our Mentor Orientation session, taking place tonight at Igesia Creciendo en Cristo Church at 6:00 p.m. We will also be at First NLR Church tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Next month, the session will take place at New Hope Baptist Church. See you there!
