
Dr. Pilewski and board members visited Boone Park Elementary today for the Superintendent and Board Member luncheon.

The North Little Rock School District is aware of the incident at CHI St. Vincent in Sherwood. At this time, there is no threat to any of our campuses. Everyone is safe and secure. We are monitoring the situation with local authorities.

Patricia Stiles, Angela Zakrzewski, and Dawnley Bryant were nominated by Dr. LeAnn Stoll to receive the Superintendent's Honor Roll. They were instrumental in making all of the special education records digital and creating processes to make the department more efficient.

SGM (R) Donald Hunter has been named outstanding U.S. Army JROTC Instructor. He has been in the NLRSD since Aug. 2020. He was nominated by his colleague, LTC (R) David H. Shelby.

Mrs. Angela Brazell's third grade students from Seventh Street Elementary shared with the Board of Education and the public the strategies they have learned to solve multiplication facts. Way to go, ladies! Mr. Marques Collins serves as the principal.

Special thanks to Decorian Butler and Caleb Best for offering Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation at tonight's Regular Board Meeting! They are students at North Little Rock Academy.

Today is the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month! This annual recognition is a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community, especially our staff, students, and families.

Some of our families took part in Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, organized by the Pulaski County Extension Office. Participants get lessons on healthy eating habits and create healthy meals to prepare for their families. This session took place at Pike View ECC.

The first Superintendent and Board Member Luncheon of the school year took place today at Amboy Elementary. This is an opportunity for the board members to collaborate with the superintendent, staff, and students to get a sense of what is happening across the NLRSD.

All students in the NLRSD eat breakfast and lunch at no charge.
However, a student may desire additional menu items. Additional items are available for purchase with cash or pre-paying to an account.
