Just a reminder that the NLRMS 6 summer learning program begins Monday, June 6 at 8:00 am. Unless enrollment was voluntary, any student required to attend needs to complete all of the summer school requirements for promotion to 7th grade. The NLRSD needs staff, parents, family members, and the community to complete the 2022-2023 NLRSD Federal Programs Needs Assessment for Staff, Parents, Family, and Community Survey.
This survey will assist the district in plans for the 2022-2023 school year. The deadline to submit this survey is 6/1.

Save the Date: NLRMS 6 will host a virtual Summer School orientation meeting on Tuesday, May 24 at 4:30 pm. A zoom link will be sent out on Monday.
NLRMS 6 students showed great citizenship and initiative today when they noticed the track and field needing cleaning before their incentive. They stepped and started beautifying the campus. These little Wildcats showed awesome character!




Students will be released early on Friday, May 20, 2022. Pre-K students will be dismissed between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:50 p.m. Middle schools will dismiss at 1:40 p.m. High schools will dismiss at 2:10 p.m.

UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER: The last day of tutoring for NLRMS 6 is Thursday, May 5th. ACT ASPIRE testing begins on Tuesday, May 10th and continues through May 12th. Early release day is May 20th.
Come enjoy the smooth sounds of the 6th grade band on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00 pm in the middle school cafeteria. The students have been practicing hard and can't to play for you!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so thankful to all teachers across our district. Join us in saluting them for their hard work and their drive to always put students first. Reach out to a former teacher or your student's teachers and share how much they've made an impact!


Just a quick reminder that NLRMS 6 on-site students will take the ACT Aspire May 10-12th. It is important that students get a good night’s rest, eat a good breakfast, and try their best on these tests. To help us get pumped up, next week is testing spirit week. Check out the flyer below for dress up days.

Our choir students are excited to share their hard work! Join us for the 6th grade choir concert on May 3rd at 6:00 pm in NLRMS mini auditorium!
