Red Ribbon Week is NEXT WEEK!!! If your child has any questions as to what color to wear on team day, have them get with one of their teachers! :)

Dear NLRMS Families,

Get ready for some fun — the NLRMS PTA is excited to present the 6th Grade Neon Fall Dance on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 PM in the NLRMS Cafeteria!

Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunch the week of October 20–24 in the cafeteria or online at https://nlrmspta.givebacks.com/shop.

Each ticket includes pizza, soda, chips or Takis, a cookie, and one glow item. Additional snacks and candy will be available for purchase at the dance — nothing will cost more than $2.

Students should follow the NLRSD dress code and come ready to have a great time! Please note that only NLRMS 6th grade students may attend.

School administration will review the attendee list to ensure all students meet the criteria to participate.

Drop-off and pick-up will be at the 6th grade campus — please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the dance ends for pickup and students must bring their ID.

Ticket sales are non-refundable after the event. No-shows will not be reimbursed unless a student’s attendance is denied by school administration, in which case a refund will be issued.

NLRMS PTA

North Little Rock Middle School 6th Grade Campus had 76 students with perfect attendance for the 1st 9 weeks!!! Our School Resource Officer (SRO), Officer Yancey, wanted to do something special. She created her own "Yappin' With Yancey Award" and organized a drawing where 12 of the 76 students were chosen (two students per team). They enjoyed lunch together, and before they left, she emphasized the importance of their education and how great opportunities often come with excellent attendance and positive choices.

Officer Yancey is an absolute treasure to our campus!!!

Please mark your calendars for our upcoming ATLAS Interim Testing dates! It is very important that all students are present and on time for testing!

To qualify for incentives, students must meet the following:
* No long forms!
* No outstanding fees for Chromebooks or Yonder pouches
* No cellphone violations

**Attendance/Tardy Qualifications:**
* Interim: No more than 1 tardy and no more than 2 unexcused absences
* 9-Weeks: No more than 3 tardies and no more than 4 unexcused absences
