Good afternoon NLRMS 7/8 Family! We will continue to follow this plan tomorrow: https://bit.ly/3WTt24L. Tomorrow is a "B" Day, so students will follow the schedule listed in the plan and attend their 5th-7th periods on Google Meet. Students must attend the Google Meet to be marked present.

Dear North Little Rock School District Employees, Parents, and Caregivers,
Due to the inclement weather, we will continue with 100% remote learning for Wednesday, February 1, 2023. As a result, all after-school activities, athletic events, and practices for Wednesday, February 1, 2023, are canceled, as all schools and Central Office sites will be closed. No transportation or food services will be provided.

Dear 8th Grade Students,
I will be available throughout the day today to answer questions through email or meet with you individually on Google Meet upon request. I will have an open Google Meet for you to drop in and ask any questions or talk about any concerns at 12:00 pm: https://meet.google.com/hfp-bgcn-kgs
This is NOT a required activity. Please reach out if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you!

To KNOW Tuesday:
• Students should miss no more than 9 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation.
• Frequent absences can be a sign that a student is losing interest in school, struggling with school work, dealing with a
bully or facing some other difficulty.
• By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
• By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
• Missing 10%, or 2 days a month, over the course of the school year, can affect a student’s academic success.

Parents, guardians, and family members we need your help in making sure your students are attending school every day. Chronic absenteeism takes away your child's opportunity to experience academic success. Monday, January 23, 2023, will start the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 school year.
