NLRHS Golf Tryouts for rising 9th-grade students will be Tuesday, May 23rd, 4:15 pm at the Burns Park Golf Course.
You must sign up through the QR Code to try out.
Current physical and consent forms are required to try out and those can be picked up in the Athletic Office.

Peleas: los estudiantes que peleen recibirán un mínimo de 10 días de suspensión.
Peleas: si un miembro del personal se lesiona tratando de responder a una pelea, los estudiantes involucrados no regresarán al campus por el resto del año escolar.

Student Behavior - On Friday, I communicated the following information to our students:
Fighting - Students who fight will receive a minimum of 10 days of suspension.
Fighting - If a staff member is injured trying to respond to a fight, the students involved will not return to campus for the remainder of the school year.
This previous week, several parents expressed concern regarding the communication we sent about a potential threat at the 7/8 Campus. I want to reassure all of our parents and students that we have collaborated with law enforcement to ensure that our campus is safe and secure. Please help us remind students of “See/Hear Something, Say Something.” Tips can be reported anonymously through the STOPit app, which is a free, online reporting tool designed to stop threats, bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors. Due to 6th Grade ACT Aspire Testing those students wanting to try out for the 7/8th Grade Dance Team will now have tryouts starting Monday, May 15, 16, 17, and 18th. Tryout material will be released on Friday, May 5. All questions and concerns can be sent to Mr. Noble.

📣Attention NLRMS 7th Graders/Families: Our NLRMS 7th Grade Spring Fling Dance is set for Friday, May 12th from 6 pm - 8 pm in the NLRMS Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and are on sale currently via our NLRMS PTA store found here: https://nlrmspta.memberhub.com/store/items/847284
NLRMS PTA is partnering with NLRMS Student Council for planning this dance and we'll be selling tickets in person at school as well - look for upcoming announcements on dates/times for in person sales.
Please note, only 7th grade students of NLRMS will be able to attend this dance. Parents that would like to volunteer to chaperone the dance are welcome, no outside visitors will be permitted to the dance that aren't chaperoning/volunteering.
Students must meet the following expectations to attend:
🔹Tardies - no more than 3 tardies
🔸Referrals - no more than 1 office referral
🔹Suspensions - no suspensions (bus, in school or out of school)
🔸IDs - students must have student ID visible to attend the dance
🔹If a student is identified to have NOT met these criteria after the ticket was purchased, NLRMS PTA will refund the purchase and they will not be allowed to attend the dance.
🔸 No-shows with purchased tickets that were approved to attend will not receive refunds.
Attire for the dance is "dress to impress"- wear church/dressy attire that follows NLRSD dress code guidelines.
No tickets will be sold at the door and ticket sales will close at 1 pm on Friday, May 12th.

North Little Rock Middle School 7/8 Campus
Good evening parents, guardians, and NLRMS 7th-8th grade students.
As a reminder students do not need to bring their backpack to school while testing. We are encouraging students to leave their technology at home as well since students will not be able to have their electronics during the test.
Teachers will collect all technology/ electronics before testing as required by the Arkansas Department of Education if your student brings such items.
Students will not be allowed to wear hoodies while testing therefore,no hoodies will be allowed. Please encourage your student to do their best!
