NLR freshman boys improve to 20-0 on the season with a 51-21 win tonight at Bryant. Winning streak extended to 29 games. Go Cats!

Senior Yo’myris Morris was recognized by the NLR Downtown Tip Off Club as player of the week!


TRAP TEAM: Mandatory parent meeting for Thursday February 8 at 6 pm at Blue Rock Gun Club, 7800 Baucum Pike in NLR.
This will be an informational meeting. Anyone who thinks they may be interested is encouraged to attend.
The trap team is open to ALL students in grade 6-12 who have NO behavior documents.

SHOUT OUT to Chess Club members, Luke Bjork & Ioan Sanders! They played in the Memphis Candidates Tournament with about 32 other participants from 4 states.
Bjork ended up in a tie for first place in the under 1500 section & qualified for the Memphis Amateur City Championship. Members of the team will play in the Snowflake Tournament this weekend in Little Rock.

The NLRHS Swim and Dive Team competed in the Conway Invitational this past Saturday. The boys team finished 3rd, the girls team finished 7th and overall the combined team placed 4th out of 23 teams.
Joseph Potts (11th) placed 1st in the 500 Yard Freestyle
Phillip Stanley (9th) placed 1st in the 200 Yard IM and is now qualified for the state meet.
Congratulations on some best times and great swims!

Naje is the daughter of our own Sergeant First Class T. Harper, an Army Instructor for NLR JROTC.

If you are interested in purchasing a Senior shirt, the deadline to order has been extended to Tuesday, January 23. Shirts are $12 for sizes Small-XL, $13 for 2XL, $14 for 3XL, and $15 for 4XL. Order forms may be picked up from your Senior English teacher. You may place your order before or after school in A222 or B235 or during your lunch shift.
