Free college tuition for AR students for STEM majors including technology and medical and many other fields. Get two years free along with a certificate or associates degree by participating in the AR Future Grant. You will be required to do 15 hours of community service and work with a mentor. Then you must work in the state of three years.

On Tuesday, May 22 at 5:30 p.m. a meeting regarding concurrent credit courses will be held for interested students and their parents/guardians.
General information about the courses and expectations will be presented, and students will have the opportunity to complete the college enrollment process.
Students must meet the ACT requirements in order to take the courses. Students who do not meet the requirements but still desire to take a concurrent credit class may take the ACCUPLACER on May 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the Media Center.

Middle School Basketball Tryouts will be held:
Incoming 7th Graders for the 2018-19 school year will be held on May 14th and May 15th from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm at the NLRMS Gym.
Incoming 8th Graders for the 2018-19 school year will be held on May 17th from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm at the NLRMS Gym.

Cross Country Tryouts!
May 17 for grades 9 -12 from 3:45 to 4:15/4:30 and will be held at NLRMS. They sign up by emailing Coach Brown and must have their own transportation.
Practice for all seniors approved to participate in the graduation ceremony is Wednesday, May 16 at 9 a.m. at Verizon Arena. Graduates should enter the arena through the box office entrance which faces Washington Avenue. Students do not need to wear their cap and gown to practice. The doors to the arena floor will be locked at 9 am so please do not be late!! If a senior needs a ride to Verizon to attend graduation practice, a bus will pick students up behind Tower D at 8:30 a.m.
On Wednesday, May 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm at North Little Rock High School, Arkansas Commitment will be hosting Pomona College and Yale University as they provide a FREE college night for the families of Central Arkansas. Please join us as they provide a holistic view of the college application process, simplify the FAFSA and other Financial Aid processes, and teach your students how to improve their chances of making their applications stand out to admissions counselors at Highly Selective & Ivy League Colleges.
