Football senior night recognition has been cancelled for this evening. It has been rescheduled for November 7 at the Blue-Gold basketball game. Details will be forthcoming!
As a result of the rain that is predicted tonight, we will postpone the Fall Sports Senior Night Recognition Ceremony. Those senior athletes will be recognized on 11/7 at the Blue & Gold basketball games, which will take place in the Arena. Please make note of the change.
Tryouts for the NLRHS boys and girls track teams scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled. Boys track tryouts set for 11/2 will still take place. Girls track tryouts will be rescheduled at a later date.
The NLR Cross Country Team will have a race event today at 4p to raise awareness about breast cancer. It’ll begin at NLRMS. The team will run through the neighborhood. The community is invited to participate. Contact Debbie Brown at brownd@nlrsd.org for more info.

On November 19, UALR will be on campus from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to assist with completing applications to their university.
Perks of participating:
1. The application fee will be waived.
2. Student transcripts will be electronically sent at no cost.
3. An immediate decision on acceptance will be made.
4. Merit-based scholarships will be awarded.
Additionally, students will be able to ask questions about specialty scholarships, housing, financial aid, etc.
STUDENTS MUST SIGNUP BY NOVEMBER 12 - sign up will be via google form ONLY - the subject line for the signup form will be UALR On Campus Day
If your student is interested in UALR, please encourage them to sign up!

The homecoming pep rally and court presentation will be held this morning. One of these young ladies will be announced as the 2019 Homecoming Queen! Coronation will take place tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Ark Baptist College, the oldest HBCU this side of the Mississippi, will be on campus, Mon 10-21. SENIORS check your email for signup form. ABC has quite a bit to offer entering freshmen! Visit will be during Flex Block.
Courtney Clark, self contained teacher at North Little Rock High School, and John Baldwin of Easterseals Arkansas were nominated for the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for their dedication in working with our Special Services Department and students.
Congratulations to Mackenzie Lee who shot even par 72 today at Pleasant Valley Country Club to win the High School Overall State Championship. This is the first time anyone from NLR has won this tournament and the first two time individual state champion in golf. #GoCats
