There will be a general PTSA meeting tomorrow where the nominating committee will present the proposed 2019-2020 board slate. The proposed board will be voted upon that meeting. The meeting is at 6 PM in the cafeteria.

NLR Center of Excellence: Jerry Joyner, Certified Employee of the Year; Rita Lovenstein, Classified Employee of the Year; and Sheree Young, Parent of the Year. Karla Whisnant is the principal of the NLR Center of Excellence.

Amboy, Crestwood, Meadow Park, NLR Center of Excellence, and NLRMS were recognized by the U of A’s College of Education and Health Professions for significant growth on the ACT Aspire last school year. The leaders of those schools were recognized at tonight’s board meeting.

This week COE teachers will advise students on the courses offered and helping them through the registration process. Copies of transcripts and registration forms will be issued for you to sign and students are expected to return the completed forms to their flex teacher.
