Mrs. Tyeshail Miller

Tyeshail Miller has been appointed as an Assistant Principal at North Little Rock Middle School – Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus. She comes to the district from Jacksonville High School, where she served as School Improvement Specialist.


Miller’s appointment in the NLRSD is actually a homecoming of sorts. She began her professional career at the former Lakewood Middle School, where she served as a Pre-AP 8th Grade English and Remedial English Teacher. The following year, she taught Freshman English in the district. After two school years in the district, she left to teach English at Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School. While at Parkview, Ms. Miller wore multiple hats:  AP Coordinator, Parent and Family Engagement Facilitator, Test Coordinator, and Student Council Sponsor.


“I am excited about this opportunity to return to the North Little Rock School District,” said Ms. Miller.  “I am ready to get to work with our students, families, teachers, and staff on providing a safe environment that is conducive for teaching and learning,” she added.

Ms. Miller earned an Educational Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She also received a Master’s Degree in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ms. Miller’s earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Central Arkansas.
