Hampton

Ms. Elise Hampton has been appointed to serve as the Principal at the North Little Rock Middle School – Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus. She comes to the district from Conway Public Schools, where she served as Assistant Principal at Raymond and Phyllis Simon Middle School.

Ms. Hampton will join the district on July 1.

As Assistant Principal, Ms. Hampton increased school-to-home communication through social media and mass messaging to send updates through text and email. She also served as the Special Education Designee by hosting committee conferences and maintaining documentation and provided recommendations as a member of the district’s Gifted and Talented Diversity Committee to identify and implement strategies to increase the number of students of color in the gifted program.

Ms. Hampton’s teaching career began in Conway Public Schools at Bob and Betty Courtway
Middle School, where she taught social studies and science. She also served as Middle School
Science Instructional Facilitator.

“I am so ready to get started,” said Ms. Hampton. “I have already met with a group of staff and
parents and have gotten feedback from them on ways that we can improve and enhance the
middle school experience for our students. I look forward to more conversations,” she said.

Ms. Hampton earned a Master of Science Degree in School Leadership, Management, and
Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Level Education from the
University of Central Arkansas. She is pursuing an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Arkansas.
