Delandrea Reddix has been promoted to Administrative Director of Human Resources, stepping up to lead the division she has served since 2018. 

Since 2020, Reddix has served as the Human Resources Business Partner, specifically providing strategic guidance and support to administrators and teachers on licensing procedures to make mandates from the Arkansas Department of Education. From recruiting to retention, Reddix has led efforts to ensure that the NLRSD attracts the best educators so that each student has a high-quality teacher, a high-quality leader, and a supportive learning environment. In addition, she has overseen onboarding and orientation for all new hires and has developed engagement and recognition initiatives to improve employee morale. 

Before becoming a Human Resources Business Partner, Reddix served as a Human Resources Generalist.  In this role, she collaborated with department leaders to create and revise job descriptions and led the transition from a paper-based recruitment and personnel records system to a centralized, digital platform.  

Reddix holds a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from UA Little Rock.  She holds multiple human resources-related certifications, including the coveted SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, which is considered as the industry’s gold standard, awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Reddix is the proud mother of two sons, one of whom is a student in the North Little Rock School District.
