Brock Moore

Veteran educator Brock Moore has been appointed as an Assistant Principal at North Little Rock High School. Moore brings a deep familiarity with the district to his new position, having spent the majority of his career within NLRSD and most recently serving as the Dean of Students for the Freshman Academy.

As the Dean of Students in the Freshman Academy, Moore made up a team of educators who worked exclusively with ninth grade students to introduce them to high school and to respond to their academic and social needs.  This role also led him to collaborate with ninth graders as it relates to behavioral issues in an effort to improve school climate.

Prior to a brief tenure with the Pulaski County Special School District, he served as a health and physical education teacher at Meadow Park Elementary, Indian Hills Elementary, the former Ridgeroad Middle, and North Little Rock High schools. Beyond the classroom, his extensive coaching background includes leading the football, basketball, and track teams and serving as assistant basketball coach at Ridgeroad. At NLRHS, he assisted with the baseball and football teams before stepping up as the head baseball coach.

Moore completed the NLRSD Aspiring Leader Academy, a specialized program designed to train educators for careers in school leadership.

Moore earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
