Jennifer Fletcher

Mrs. Jennifer Fletcher, a veteran educator in the North Little Rock School District, has been appointed to serve as Assistant Principal at Glenview Elementary School.  

Before this assignment, Mrs. Fletcher served as the Multi-Classroom Leader at Glenview, where she provided feedback to teachers in the areas of literacy.  In addition, she modeled instructional practices aimed at driving student achievement and engagement and analyzed data to improve academic outcomes. 

Mrs. Fletcher has also served as a Dyslexia Interventionist at Glenview, in which she provided individualized and specific interventions for students with characteristics of dyslexia.  Fletcher is in her eleventh year in education, having begun her career as a teacher at the former Pike View Elementary School.  She transferred to Glenview Elementary School at the start of the 2014-2015 school year.  She has taught first and third grades. 

Mrs. Fletcher earned a Master of Science in Education in Reading from the University of Central Arkansas.  She is a Licensed Reading Therapist, and she holds an endorsement as a Dyslexia Therapist.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Central Arkansas.  Fletcher is currently pursuing the Educational Specialist in Education Leadership, Principalship Degree from Arkansas State University.  Mrs. Fletcher is a National Board Certified Teacher, which is recognized in the education community as the gold standard in teacher certification.
