LeAnn Stoll

Dr. LeAnn Stoll, the Executive Director of Special Services, recently received the WE are LEADing Award, which recognizes one woman who is a current and accomplished leader in a K-12 or higher education school or district. This person has provided mentorship, guidance, and support to other leaders. She has encouraged the  development of future and current leaders, and has courageously forged the way for others in educational leadership

Presented by WE LEAD (Women in Educational LEADership), the organization facilitates the empowerment of women in education to become educational leaders, to navigate their career options, to lead a balanced and healthy life, to plan for their personal and professional futures, to develop their skills by navigating the political climates and professional pipelines, and to create a network of support and mentors and mentors for women in the field.

"Dr. LeAnn Stoll embodies the WE are LEADing Award through her tireless support of other leaders. Person after person gave testimony to the support and encouragement she has given them as they have developed as educational leaders. Dr. Stoll is an educator and leader whose impact through other leaders has positively impacted children for many years and she is very deserving of this recognition,” said Dr. Lillie Cox, founder and owner of WE LEAD.

Dr. Stoll joined the North Little Rock School District in August 1995 as a special education teacher at the now-defunct North Heights Elementary School.  She then moved to North Little Rock High School - West Campus to teach special education.  Dr. Stoll later became the District Vision Specialist, followed by time as the Secondary Special Services Coordinator. 

WE LEAD was founded in 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina by Dr. Lillie Cox a former teacher, principal, and school district superintendent to encourage and support women in education.
