CURRICULUM INNOVATION AND DESIGN
The Curriculum Innovation and Design Department of the North Little Rock School District strives to support high quality teaching and learning in every classroom. This department collaborates with teachers and administrators to ensure a high quality curriculum and aligned instructional materials for all grade levels, content areas, and courses through the school district that meets national, state, industry, and technology content standards. The Curriculum Innovation and Design Department also integrates innovative instructional strategies and assessments to adapt and personalize learning.

Our mission is to collaboratively develop a viable curriculum, facilitate the selection of high-quality instructional materials, and provide aligned professional learning experiences to build a foundation for effective teaching and learning.
This research-based curriculum will allow every student to achieve mastery of grade-level standards and be future-ready.
