There is an amazing addition to the FARM, which is located at the North Little Rock Middle School campus!
School leaders, along with Baldwin & Shell, Pinnacle Structures, and various subcontractors, cut the ribbon to officially open the new storage building.
The structure will be used to store animal feed and gardening tools. It will also serve as shelter for animals during inclement weather.
This project is a culmination of a community effort. After thieves broke into a building adjacent to the FARM and stole equipment valued at $5,000, many parents and community members stepped in to help.

Parents and guardians, students must have a clear or mesh backpack when entering the NLRMS 7/8 Campus. NLRSD policy states that students may use only clear or mesh book bags to transport books. The building administrator(s) reserve the right to make appropriate decisions about backpacks in the school building. Today many students come to school with solid-colored backpacks which goes against our NLRSD backpack policy. Students who had solid backpacks were given a mesh backpack to use. The NLRMS 7/8 Principal, Ms. Hampton, is requiring parents and or guardians to pick up their students' solid-colored backpacks when their students don't adhere to the backpack policy.
Student-athletes who participate in NLRMS 7/8 athletics (football, volleyball, basketball, cross country, tennis) will have to have their gym bag tagged and stored away in their locker throughout the day until 7th-period dismissal.

Student safety is always first when it comes to our NLRMS 7/8 grade students.
Parents and guardians, we need your help more than ever when it comes to morning and afternoon student drop-off and pick-up.
Students should only be dropped off using the student drop-off loop in front of the school.
Students should never get dropped off or picked up in the teacher parking lot or bus lane.
The bus lane is solely to be used to unload and load our NLRMS bus riders.
Thank you all for your assistance in assuring our students are safe.

Good afternoon parents and guardians. Today students were given the NLRMS Device Usage Permission slip form that must be signed by their parent or guardian and brought back to school. All students are required to have this documentation on file before they can use a school-issued Chromebook or device. If your student does not have a form then please have them check with their English teacher about getting one.
Thank you all it's been a great 3 Days!
Go CATS!
