Virtual Students: It is time to hold Student Council Elections. For students interested in running for an officer’s position or for class representative, starting Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24 students can email Mrs. McMahan at mcmahane@nlrsd.org and provide her with their first and last name and the position they would like to run for. Once sign ups are completed, she will set up a Google Classroom for each candidate to join. This is where the procedures and expectations for running and for each position will be listed and explained. The positions available are the following: 8th grade: President Vice President Secretary Historian Class Representative 7th grade: Class Representative

Please take a look at our safety procedures as it relates to attending our sporting events this fall. We have implemented changes to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and fans. If you're interested in attending football games, tickets will be sold on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the ticket booth on the home side. We will have limited seating, so you make the decision as soon as possible if you plan on attending. Tickets for volleyball games will be sold at the door starting one hour before the first game. Hurricane Laura is expected to bring inclement weather to Arkansas. As a result, the North Little Rock School District will end classes early on Thursday. Elementary: 1:00 p.m. Middle: 1:50 p.m. High: 2:30 p.m. All after school events scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed. Central Office will close at 3:00 p.m. We will communicate on tomorrow about our plans to hold classes on Friday. As it relates to early dismissal tomorrow, students enrolled in the Virtual Academy will adhere to the class times given by their teachers. Thank you for being a part of our district!

The NLR Board of Education voted to approve new start and end times for our schools. The times are as follows: Elementary: 7:50 a.m.-2:35 p.m. Middle: 8:10 a.m.-3:25 p.m. High: 8:40 a.m.-3:55 p.m. Pre-K times will remain the same: 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Schools will open to students who ride buses first. The following are drop off times for students who drive, walk, or are dropped off. Elementary: 7:20 a.m. Middle: 7:40 a.m. High: 7:55 a.m.

Good evening, Students who are enrolled in the virtual academy at NLRMS 7/8 Campus will be able to pick up their chromebook and first two novels for the semester Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00 each day.
