Everyone must fill out this survey unless you are an on campus student who wishes to remain on campus. This survey asks if in January you want to return to campus, stay virtual, or move to virtual from on campus. Please consult with parents and complete this as soon as possible. This survey can only be accessed through your child's NLRSD Google account.

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. The North Little Rock School District is recognizing this month with a series of initiatives to make our students and families aware of dyslexia and the services that we provide.

We have been approved to have Virtual Learning Fridays! This will begin on 10/23.
In summary, attending school on Fridays is optional. Students enrolled in face-to-face instruction will have the option of completing assignments either in person or at home. Virtual students will complete assignments as normal. These assignments will be completed asynchronously, which means there will be no live instruction. No new material will be introduced. Attendance will still be taken.

Good evening parents, guardians, and students. This message is to remind all of our virtual students the following virtual expectations:
1. All students have 7 virtual classes and must attend all 7of their virtual classes daily. NO student has fewer than 7 classes
2. Students must log in to each class using their first and last names. Teachers will not accept students that use nicknames to try an enter.
3. Students must have their computer camera turned on at all times so the student's face can be seen for the entire class period. Failure to turn on your camera will result in the student being marked absent for that class period.
Picture Day is Friday, October 2nd for FACE TO FACE STUDENTS
Students will be taking pictures through their Social Studies class. Picture forms will be sent home this week.

Good evening NLRMS 7/8 parents and guardians. We are off to a great start for the 2020-2021 school year. The attendance office wants to remind parents that all doctor's notes or parent notes must be turned into the front office or emailed to prospert@nlrsd.org within 5 days of the absences in order for it to be marked excused. You can check your child's daily attendance by logging into the Homes Access Center. Please call the front office if you have any questions or need your HAC information. (501-771-8200)
