Per the directives from yesterday's news conference, the North Little Rock School District will offer the traditional, five-day blended learning option and a 100% virtual learning option. If you want your child to participate in our Virtual Academy, the deadline to register the student is Friday, August 7 at noon. This is one form per child. For instance, if you have two children who will participate in the Virtual Academy, then you must complete two forms. Water bottles will be allowed for students. All water fountains in the building are closed. When sending a bottle with your child, be sure his/her name is clearly labeled. Choose a distinctive bottle to prevent it from being confused with another child's.

Face Coverings are required for every student and employee of the NLRSD. Coverings are required to cover both nose and mouth. Coverings must not have any words, images, phrases, symbols, etc. that are vulgar, inappropriate and would disrupt learning. They do not have to be a solid color and can be fun for students to wear.

These are the dates and times each campus will distribute chromebooks for those who indicated that they would need a device for the Virtual Academy. Please remain in your vehicle and allow school staff to bring devices to you to ensure this is an orderly and safe process.

"Cupcake and Conversations" will be held tomorrow at 6 p.m. and can be viewed on our Facebook page to accommodate the high number of attendees. Summer school families, it's time to turn in chrome books! Staff will be at Central Office, located at 2400 Willow Street, beginning today through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., to collect devices.

We are preparing to begin Returning Student Registration. Our new registration program allows you to easily update any information and to verify your child will be attending the North Little Rock School District for the 20-21 school year. Registration log-in instructions will be sent to your email on Monday, June 15. You will receive this email if your guardian email address is updated in HAC. For help updating your guardian email, visit nlrsd.org, click on the Registration tab, and watch the videos on how to do this.
