2020-2021 School Calendar

Last night, the North Little Rock Board of Education voted not to mandate the uniform policy for the 2020-2021 school year. Our elementary and middle school students wear uniforms.
We know that some families have already purchased uniforms for the new school year. Feel free to send your student to school in that apparel.
We understand that many of our families have been negatively affected by this pandemic and are unable to purchase uniforms for their students. Please be aware that teachers and administrators will expect students to report to school in presentable, distraction-free attire. Those who do not will be subject to disciplinary actions.
Thank you for being a part of the North Little Rock School District.

Last night, the NLRSD School Board voted to suspend the uniform policy for 2020-2021. Students may wear clothes which are tasteful and appropriate for a school setting. Students still need to have a clear or mesh backpack. Masks are required. Students may bring a clearly labeled water bottle (this is encouraged) and lunch box if desired.

Last year’s yearbooks were held up at the publisher due to COVID. We have not yet received them. We will let everyone know a plan for distribution as soon as they arrive.

Please see the following link(s) to read about our transportation guidelines as we prepare for a new school year.

Once virtual school numbers are tallied, parents will receive information next week from our district. We do not have answers here at LWE at this time. Please be patient and expect information next week.
