Senior Picture Opportunity

Congratulations to Ricky Reed for being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau! Reed, a senior, had a pass breakup, an interception, and a fumble recovery with a touchdown! In the first round of the playoffs, the Charging Wildcats dominated the entire game and left Fort Smith Southside scoreless, 38-0. Friday's game will be home against the LR Catholic Rockets. Tickets for playoff games will be sold online. Way to go, Ricky, and keep it up, Charging Wildcats!

Congratulations to Liam Selhorst for being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau! Selhorst, a senior, had average punt of 35 yards, six out of six for the extra point, and two out of three for the field goal. The Charging Wildcats defeated the Cabot Panthers, 48-31. After completing the regular season with an 8-1 record, the Charging Wildcats now head into the playoffs. Friday's game will be at Charging Wildcat Stadium against Fort Smith Southside. NLRHS and COE are currently on lockdown due to an incident in the area but not on the school campus. The lockdown is a precautionary measure.

Senior Night at Charging Wildcat Stadium! A bittersweet moment as we recognized our senior athletes, cheer, dance, band, and JROTC members. We are proud of each student, thank them for their contributions to NLR, and wish each one much success!

Tonight was another opportunity to honor the highest-ranked seniors in the Class of 2021. Tonight’s honorees were Rylee Boles, Clayton Jolly, Anna Cavnor, Kate Freer, Scotty Jolly, Johnna Hollis, and Stephanie Escobedo. Congratulations on your academic achievement!

NLR EAST students have placed nine new plaques on the Memorial Wall. This wall recognizes NLR students who died while in high school. Stan Whisnant is the NLR EAST facilitator. If you have any questions about this project, you may email him at whisnants@nlrsd.org.

Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Track team will be held at Charging Wildcat Stadium on 11/18 and 11/19 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 pm. Anyone interested must have a current sports physical and signed consent forms on file in the AD's Office in order to participate.

Congratulations to Chris Jefferson for being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau! This is the second time this season that Jefferson has received this honor. Jefferson, a senior, had four receptions for 81 yards, three rushes for 30 yards, and three returns for 56 yards, averaging 18.7 yards per return. He even scored a touchdown! Friday's game will be Senior Night, and the Charging Wildcats will take on the Cabot Panthers. We will recognize our seniors beginning at 6:25 p.m. Tickets will be sold on the home ticket booth on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Way to go, Chris, and let's go, Charging Wildcats!
