Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, Parents, and Supporters:

On behalf of the North Little Rock School District and the Board of Education, I would like to wish you a joyful holiday season.

It is at this moment when we should all take some time to pause and reflect on the many blessings over the past year.  We are so thankful to live in this community – a community that rallies behind the schools.  We have volunteers who give of their time and resources to support our students and staff.  We are blessed to have wonderful teachers and administrators who give their all to prepare our most prized possession – the students – for a global society.

I am grateful to the Board of Education for entrusting me to lead this school district.  I don’t take it lightly.  I give this role my all.  I love being here and doing my part to make a difference.

The year 2019 has been a transformational year, but one thing that has not changed is our drive to be student-focused every single day.

The year 2020 is right around the corner, and I am excited to see the great things that are ahead for this district.

I look forward to your support and prayers in the coming year.

Sincerely,

Bobby Acklin
Superintendent of Schools
