Mrs. Susie Brunson has been appointed by the North Little Rock Board of Education as Assistant Principal at North Little Rock High School.
Mrs. Brunson recently served as a Multi-Classroom Leader at NLRHS. Multi-Classroom Leaders work directly with teachers to provide support in lesson planning and instructional strategies that will improve student engagement and achievement. Before that, Mrs. Brunson taught mathematics at NLRHS. She has also served as Chairperson of the Mathematics Department. In addition, Mrs. Brunson has taught mathematics courses at Arkansas State University - Beebe at its campus on the Little Rock Air Force Base.
Mrs. Brunson is entering her seventeenth year as an educator in the North Little Rock School District.
Mrs. Brunson has earned three degrees from the University of Central Arkansas: an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts Degree in Mathematics Education, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics.
She is married to her husband, Quintel, and she has two sons.
