With these instruments, our kids now have the opportunity to explore music in new and exciting ways, building creativity, confidence, and joy in learning. We can’t wait to hear the sweet sounds filling our halls!

No school on Monday for Labor Day! Since it isn't a full school week this means we will have regular dismissal on Wednesday and no Early Release on 9/3.

If your student has medication at school, please pick it by Friday, May 30, which is the last day of school. All medication that is not picked up by Friday will be destroyed or discarded, per district guidelines. If your student will be attending summer school, please speak with your child's building nurse to make arrangements.

3rd Grade had a blast today on their field trip to see The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe put on by the North Little Rock High School Theatre Department! After the play, the students enjoyed lunch and got to play at the Laman Library park.

As you know, the North Little Rock School District closed schools and district offices early on Wednesday, April 2 because of inclement weather.  To avoid extending the school year, the district will add five minutes to the end of the school day beginning Monday, April 14. Please note the updated school hours. At this time, the last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 30. However, please keep in mind that inclement weather is unpredictable. If additional schedule changes become necessary, the school year may extend beyond this date. Thank you for your understanding!

While we have experienced inclement weather over the past several days, there has been little to no impact on our schools and Central Office sites. Therefore, all campuses and district sites will be open tomorrow at normal times. The North Little Rock School District and Waterford.org are hosting March Math Madness! Join us for an evening filled with games and activities for number fluency, as well as actionable steps to support math learning at home. 📍 Meadow Park Elementary School 📅 Thursday, March 13, 2025 ⏰ 5:30-7 pm We hope to see our Pre-K families there!

To avoid extending the school year, the North Little Rock School District has elected to implement the following two changes, beginning Monday, March 3, 2025: --Suspend early dismissals on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year --Add ten (10) minutes to the school day for the remainder of the school year The last day of school will be Friday, May 30, 2025.

All NLRSD campuses and offices will reopen on Monday, February 24, at their regular times. For our high school students, tomorrow will be an A Day. See you tomorrow!
