October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. We'd like to take this time to raise awareness about the most common learning disability. We are so grateful for our effective Dyslexia educators that help students with reading, writing, and other language based learning differences.

Glenview Attendance Party Celebration!
We had an amazing time celebrating our students on October 10th for showing up on time and ready to learn! From laughter to music and smiles all around, this celebration reminded us how important it is to be present each day!
Why Attendance Matters:
1️⃣ Every day of learning builds a stronger foundation for success.
2️⃣ Being on time teaches responsibility and sets the tone for the day.
3️⃣ Consistent attendance helps students stay connected with teachers and friends.
4️⃣ Students who show up grow up confident and prepared to achieve their goals!
Keep it up Chargers! Every minute in school makes a difference!

Last week we had a visit from Healthy Flavors of Arkansas and Chef April. All K-5th students got the opportunity to participate in healthy cooking. The kindergartners made lemonade and the 1st-5th graders all made purple hull pea salad with vinaigrette.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Muffins with Mom. We had an amazing turnout! Check out the Glenview Facebook page for all the photos taken today.

International Dyslexia Day is October 8th. We appreciate Ms Haley and Ms Rhodes-Warren for the support they give our students!

October 6th is Instructional Coach Day. Thank you Ms Neville and Ms Eaton for all the support you give the staff. We appreciate you!

Glenview Elementary was blessed to partner with the Glenview Day planning team and the amazing team from OBI to host a blood mobile during Glenview Day. Because of YOUR generosity, lives will be touched, including children who depend on blood donations every single day. Did you know…
1 in 7 hospital patients will need a blood transfusion in their lifetime.
Children fighting cancer often need blood products weekly during treatment.
Just 1 donation can save up to 3 lives!
THANK YOU to every hero who rolled up their sleeve! Your gift is more than blood. It is hope, healing, and a second chance for kids and families in need. Thank you Ms. Penland, for your hard work and dedication to make this a reality for our community!

Glenview Day with the community was a huge success. Thank you, Ms. Ashcraft-Padilla for representing our school with Quest activities.

5th grade Quest students had a blast completing a Whodunnit? This is an activity where they solved math problems and received a clue (incorrect answers provided false clues). Then, based on the clues they collected, they presented their case to find out if they were able to solve the mystery.
Students were extremely focused and gave their best effort to be the first one able to solve the mystery correctly.
