Glenview Elementary School

Big news for Glenview! 🎨 This past weekend, Londyn Nichols represented Glenview at the 65th Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Her artwork was not only selected for display, but also earned Best in Class for her grade level! 🏆 The museum awarded prizes to both Londyn and our art teacher, Ms. Nicole Boutiette. This marks the first time a Glenview student’s work has been selected for the exhibition — an incredible honor! Londyn’s artwork will remain on display through July 26, and admission to the museum is free so please come out and check it out.

May 18th is Speech Pathology day. Thank you to Ms Amy and Ms Parmer who help individuals improve their ability to connect and communicate. We are grateful for you.

This week, May 4th-8th, is Teacher Appreciation Week and we love our teachers here at Glenview! Don't forget to tell them how grateful you are for them. Thank you Glenview teachers and staff for your dedication, generosity and impact you have on our students!

Today is National School Nurse Day. Thank you Nurse Meg for all you do to keep our students healthy and thriving!

May 1-7th is National Physical Education & Sports Week! Big thank you to Coach K for being a great PE Teacher at Glenview. We are grateful you joined our team this year!

May 1st is National School Lunch Hero day and we want to thank all our staff members who put in so much work everyday in nurturing and fueling our students. You make a difference for every child who walks through those cafeteria doors!

Special shoutout to 1st Grader, Londyn Nichols, for being selected into the Young Arkansas Artists exhibition at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. She created this artwork in art class and has been chosen to have her artwork on display at the museum from May 23rd-July 26th.

May 1st is National School Principal's Day! But here at Glenview we celebrate our fearless leader Mr Kelly all week long! We are strong & united because of him. Thank you for your dedication & creating a safe and positive environment for our students, teachers, & community.

April 28th is Bus Driver Appreciation today. Thank you to the drivers and paras that work on safely transporting our students to and from school everyday. You are an essential part of our staff and we are grateful for you.

April 22nd is National Secretary Appreciation Day! We cannot thank the Stephanies enough for everything they do. Thank you for being the glue that holds Glenview together. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

April 20th-24th is National Public School Volunteer week. We want to thank and honor all the parents, family members, mentors, and community members that take time out of their lives to build up our school and support us.

National Assistant Principals Week is April 6-10th and here at Glenview we have the absolute best! Thank you Ms Fletcher for your dedication and support to our school and community. We are grateful to call you a Charger!

April 4th is National School Librarian Day and we are so grateful for the amazing Dr White. Thank you for enriching and pouring into the students!

April 1st is National Paraprofessional Day! We are so grateful for all the amazing paraprofessionals we have at Glenview! The support they provide is invaluable and we couldn't do it without them.

We are a little late on National Social Workers Day, but we don't want to overlook Ms Kianna and how thankful we are for her. The kids feel so connected to her and we are grateful to have her at Glenview.

Next Thursday, March 12th, the Glenview Girl Scout troop will be selling cookies from 12:30-3:00. *Disclaimer: This information is being distributed as a community service. The North Little Rock School District is not a sponsoring organization for this activity.
