Ivey Kelly

Ivey Kelly, who currently serves as the Ninth Grade Assistant Principal at Little Rock Southwest High School, will cross Arkansas River to be the Assistant Principal at the Center of Excellence.

At Southwest High, Kelly’s focus on building strong relationships with families drove a 15% increase in parent participation and engagement among freshman students. Prior to Southwest, Kelly served different stints as Assistant Principal and Academic Improvement Specialist at Little Rock Hall High School.  Kelly’s journey in education began as an English teacher in the LRSD, where he taught all grade levels of secondary English and successfully guided students in Debate and Forensics. 

Kelly is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. A graduate of Henderson State University, Kelly holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
