Pike View Early Childhood Center

 Pike View Early Childhood Center was selected as a stop on U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. 's Back to School bus tour.  The visited highlighted benefits for children and families directly resulting from  Preschool Development Grant  funding in the North Little Rock School District,   Secretary King read to a four year old classroom and participated in a discussion on how Arkansas and local communities, with help from the federal government, are making it possible for more children to get off to a strong start and the benefits families, schools and communities are seeing.
