EAST CLASSROOM PODCAST
Paxton Bowsman, a seventh grader, hosted a podcast called "The Pride Post" for his EAST Classroom project. EAST stands for Education Accelerated by Service and Technology, which is a class that infuses technology to benefit the community in some way. Students on the middle and high school campuses can take EAST Classroom and participate in innovative, self-directed learning projects to empower scholars to think critically, solve problems, and engage in positive, real-world experiences.
Paxton hosted these podcasts in the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year and has host various guests. This process required Paxton to search for quality equipment to conduct interviews, brainstorm topics of interest, gather information, find guests, and complete the interviews. Paxton also had to edit the interviews before they were ready to publish.
The goal of these episodes is to inform students, families, and the community about the exciting programs and opportunities that take place on this campus.
